What are your thoughts. . .goals. . .loves. . .dreams. . .

What makes you the person that you are?

Using stickers, we created a personal collage

There were similarities between our collages
but each one was very unique

Remember playing hide-and-seek when you were growing up?

Look around you.
Where is the best place to hide?

As we get older, we don't play hide-and-seek anymore.

But we still like to hide.

Sometimes we hide our true thoughts from others

Sometimes we hide from ourselves

Sometimes we hide from God

Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths,
you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.

Is there anyplace I can go to avoid your Spirit?
to be out of your sight?
If I climb to the sky, you're there!
If I go underground, you're there!
If I flew on morning's wings to the far western horizon,
You'd find me in a minute--
you're already there waiting!

NIV and Message

You can try to hide from God's Spirit . . .
But God sees everything you do

God knows everything you think

God knows everything you feel

Scary thoughts? Maybe, but comforting too

You are never alone

You're never without someone who understands you

You're never abandoned

Never.

God lives in you.
His Spirit knows you.
Guides you.
Holds you.

You may be trying to hide from God's Spirit
But where will you go?

Why hide from someone who cares for you so much?
