We
understand what love is
when we realize that Christ gave his life for us.
That means we must give our lives for other believers.
1 John 3:16
GWT
Community
requires Committment
What
is my community?
Who
is my neighbor?
Jesus
said that my neighbor was someone
that I crossed the road for.
Who am I crossing the road to help?

praying
for our community

The
mother of James and John asked Jesus
to give her sons a special place in his kingdom.
Jesus
replied,
Can you drink of the cup that I am going to
drink?

Can
we drink the cup?

The
cup of life,
full of sorrows
full of joys

Can
we hold our cup
and claim it as our own?

Can
we lift our cup
to offer blessings to others?
"To Life"

Become
a community of people
encouraging one another?

Drinking
our cups is following freely
and courageously God's call and staying
faithfully on the path that is ours.

We
must empty the cups of our lives
completely to be able to receive the
fullness of life from God.

Jesus
lived this on the cross.
The moment of complete emptiness and
complete fullness became the same.

When
we invite friends for a meal,
we do much more than offer food.
We offer friendship, fellowship,
good conversation. . .
we offer ourselves.

This is what Jesus did.
DIVINE COMMUNION
take, eat

fill
my cup, Lord

God
speaks. God moves. God is beautiful.
we
respond. we create. we worship.
