boundaries
There are many different kinds of boundaries.
In the physical world boundaries are easy to see:
fences, signs, walls,
moats with alligators, manicured lawns, or hedges
Boundaries help define ownership
The concept of boundaries comes from the very nature of God. And true freedom comes from living
in the boundaries of God's will
I run in the path of your commands,
for you have set my heart free.
Psalm 119:32
Learning how to set boundaries:
1. Learn to say “no”.
2. Do what is right even when others disagree.
3. Detach from people when necessary.
4. Realise your separateness. Gain awareness of who you are and define yourself accordingly
5. Stop blaming others.
6. Stop playing the victim.
7. Become active, not reactive.
8. Set limits and practise self-control.
9. Be honest.
10. Challenge ungodly beliefs.
11. Keep the promises that you make to yourself.
12. Trust.

Without "boundaries" in silk painting,
you would have an ugly mess,
because the silk dye flows until it meets resistance.

So let God work his will in you.
Resist the devil.
Say a quiet yes to God and he'll be there in no time.
Quit dabbling in sin.
Purify your inner life.
Quit playing the field.
Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out.
The fun and games are over.
Get serious, really serious.
Get down on your knees before the Master;
it's the only way you'll get on your feet.
