pop soda parable

What is your favorite soda?

one of the citrus flavors?

a cola?

rootbeer?

or a Dr. Pepper wannabe?

Would you know your "popsoda"
in a blind taste test?

Would you be able to pick it out?

We put ourselves to the test
during the "pop" quiz

We had 70 different sodas!
4 different catagories
(17 colas, 20 rootbeers, 13 Dr. Peppers, 20 citrus flavors)
and some thirsty taste testers

at first, it seem like an exciting proposition!

which one is Barq's?

these citrus flavored sodas are
nasty!

this is becoming very confusing!

I can't find my soda!

yuck!

spiritual lessons we learned:

Even though you think you know your soda--
you can be fooled

So many different rootbeers. . .
So many different colas . . .
So many different Mountain Dew wannabes . . .
So many different Dr. Pepper wannabes . . .
which is the real thing?

We searched for a really good tasting soda,
but by the time we tasted a few dozen--
they all tasted awful!

No one correctly figured out which was
their favorite soda !

For sin deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death.

All man's efforts are for his mouth,
yet his appetite is never satisfied.
What advantage has a wise man
over a fool?

What does a poor man gain
by knowing how to conduct himself before others?

Better what the eye sees
than the roving of the appetite.

a chasing after the wind.
