or was it "distr-action"

did anyone notice "Miss Suzanne" eat the
cucumber sandwich . . . get sick . . .

and die?

whodonit?

and what does murder mystery
have to do with God, worship
and me?

Are we accustom to resolution and closure?

As we watch CSI, Without a Trace, Law and Order
on TV each week,
we expect the mystery to be solved,
the killer to be caught and justice served.

In real life, we are relieved to
solve the Mysteries,
especially Cold Case Mysteries.

We want answers to our questions.

Who is the BTK killer?
solved
What happened to La Toiya Figueroa?
solved
What happened to Natalee Holloway?
open case

The Bible is full of mysteries.
If I study my Bible will I be able to solve all the mysteries,
will I have answers to all my questions?

"True mystery, the kind of mystery rooted
in the infinite nature of God,
gives us answers that actually plung us
into even more . . . questions."

who is God?

why does He care about me?

what does it mean "God is Love?"

the more you pursue this mystery,
the more you find out about God . . .
and the more you find . . .that there is
so much more you don't know about God.

The mystery of God is to be celebrated!
Ask the Holy Spirit to take you on
the journey of exploration!

explore the Greatness and Goodness of God

God's wisdom is something mysterious
that goes deep into the interior of his purposes.
You don't find it lying around on the surface.
It's not the latest message,
but more like the oldest--
what God determined as the way
to bring out his best in us,
long before we ever arrived on the scene.
The experts of our day haven't a clue
about what this eternal plan is.
If they had, they wouldn't have killed the
Master of the God-designed life on a cross.

That's why we have this Scripture text:

No one's ever seen or heard anything like this,

Never so much as imagined anything quite like it--

What God has arranged for those who love him.

But you've seen and heard it because God by his Spirit
has brought it all out into the open before you.

The Spirit, not content to flit around on the surface,
dives into the depths of God,
and brings out what God planned all along.

Who ever knows what you're thinking and planning
except you yourself?
The same with God--except that he not only knows
what he's thinking, but he lets us in on it.

2 Corinthians 2:7-11
