friends
time
money
work
school
taking out the
garbage!

have you had a busy week?

been juggling work, school, bills, life?

try virtual juggle!

we barely managed
to juggle our own names

forget the watermelon,
strawberries and
kumquats!

but it was really fun trying!

somehow, no matter how busy we are
we always find time to get something to
eat!

Jesus loved to eat.

He was always going out to dinner,
cooking meals for friends,
inviting others to join him for a meal,
ready to tend to the stomachs
as well as the spirits of his disciples and followers.

The straight-laced, rigidly religious Sadducees, Pharisees, and Scribes who took offense at Jesus' less-than-rigorous lifestyle often pointed
to his eating habits as evidence of his dissolute character and indulgent habits:

"This man welcomes sinners and eats with them"

Luke 15:2

Jesus still loves to eat.

He wants to eat with you.

What's in your lunch box?

He wants to eat with you!

Let's have lunch!

He want's to eat with me!

share your lunch with
Jesus

Hey there! All who are thirsty,
come to the water!
Are you penniless?
Come anyway--buy and eat!
Come, buy your drinks, buy wine and milk.
Buy without money--everything's free!

Why do you spend your money on junk food,
your hard-earned cash on cotton candy?

Listen to me, listen well: Eat only the best,
fill yourself with only the finest.
Pay attention, come close now,
listen carefully to my life-giving, life-nourishing words.

I'm making a lasting covenant commitment with you,
the same that I made with David:
sure, solid, enduring love.

Isaiah 55
