The internet cafe has disconnected their wireless router, and I can't log on with my laptop. I will give you a journal though.

Our drive into Honduras was interesting. We pulled an all-nighter and drove ten hours without sleeping in the previous 24hrs. WOW! I ´ll never do that again.

We arrived in Honduras ok though, thank God! We went to the capital city and flagged down three taxis cab drivers, trying to locate the SDA hospital. Finally one of the drivers took us to a hospital there in the capital city and we were able to get directions to to where the SDA hospital was. We made out to the hospital around 9 pm and found the group that we were looking for. We never used, or had a map.

So far we have been doing the usual work, electrical wiring, construction, fabricating, and now the new one, dental. Adam, Ryan, and Jared have been working with the build team, while I have been working with a dental team. I have been doing basic dentistry... extractions. It has been fun. I have really enjoyed myself; I´m pretty sure I will end up doing alot more throughout the rest of the trip. I started out by working with two dentists, Dr. Mark Turner, and a guy named Dr. Ky. They gave me a basic breakdown of the procedures, and a hands-on course too. From there, I started seeing my own patients, and performing my own extractions. Quite interesting. I´m no dentist, but I do have the basic fundementals together, and am ready to attempt my own "bush-clinic" here shortly if there is the need.

The build site is coming along, farely well. They have finished most of the second floor, and will let the locals install the roof. Its been quite an undertaking given that they have only hand tools and manual labor. There are alot of imperfections to deal with and it is frustrating.

We are going to be heading to Costa Rica on Sunday. It should be an easy two day drive. We packed our trucks this afternoon and are going to take it easy tomorrow and rest up. We´ll leave early Sunday, and spend the night in Nicaragua, then progress on into Costa Rica on Monday. In Costa Rica we will chill on the beach for awhile, then start working at a farm. It should be a peaceful break from our long travels.

Happy Sabbath.
